The University of Detroit Mercy School of Law’s Association of Black Law Alumni (ABLA) will host the ABLA Summer BBQ Bash on Saturday, August 21, from noon to 3 p.m.
Detroit Mercy Law alumni, current students, and friends of ABLA are invited to the first annual Summer BBQ Bash for some tasty grilled treats, great conversation, and an opportunity to re-connect.
The bash will take place at the Detroit Mercy Law Student/Guest Parking Lot. Guests should park in the lot/deck located at 589 E Congress St. Entrance to this lot/deck is off Congress St., just west of St. Antoine St. Street parking may also be available.
Tickets for the bash are free. A minimum $10 donation or more is appreciated. All proceeds support the David Williams II ’82 & Gail Carr Williams ’83 Endowed Scholarship Fund to support Black law students.
