Paralegal/Legal Assistant Section hosts annual meeting and wine tour in Glen Arbor

 The State Bar of Michigan’s Paralegal/Legal Assistant Section will conduct its “Annual Business Meeting & Leelanau County Wine Tour” Saturday, September 25, at The Homestead Resort, 1 Wood Ridge Road, in Glen Arbor. The business meeting will begin at 10 a.m. followed by a council retreat at 11:30 a.m.

The council invites members to stay the day and have some fun.  It will be taking a Leelanau County wine tour starting at 4 p.m. The tour bus will pick the group up at The Homestead Resort and after visiting several wineries will return the group back to the resort. Light snacks will be provided on the tour bus, and those wishing to stay longer can join the council after the tour for dinner.

A block of rooms has been reserved at The Homestead Resort (Fiddler’s Pond) in Glen Arbor. Call 231-334-5100 to make reservations.

The annual meeting is free for section members and $50 for non-members. The wine tour is $50 for section members and $100 for non-members. To register for the annual meeting and/or wine  tour, email sbmparalegal@gmail.com. A limited number of tickets for the wine tour are available on a first come, first-served basis.
