The Criminal Defense Association of Michigan will present "Evidence Boot Camp A" on Friday, November 19, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Courtyard Marriott Warren, 30190 Van Dyke Ave. in Warren.
Attendees do not have to take prior Boot Camps to attend this Boot Camp. Speaking at the training will be Mike Steinberg and Pamela I. Johnson.
Steinberg is a seasoned trial lawyer in the Detroit Metropolitan area. As of February 2021, He celebrated 30 years of practicing in Michigan and maintains a caseload laden with capital cases. Steinberg also is enters 30 years of membership with CDAM, and has been on the Board of Directors since 2002. Steinberg was the first to become a Constitutional Warrior and has held membership on the Education Committee for almost 30 years. He helped create the trial skills programs we enjoy and has frequently been a presenter for CDAM. Steinberg, a founding faculty member of the Evidence Boot Camp, has been training lawyers of all levels of practice.
Johnson graduated from University of Detroit Mercy Law School in 2000. She served as an assistant prosecuting attorney in Oakland County from 2001 to 2007. She has been in private practice specializing in criminal defense since that time. She has been a CJA Panel Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan since 2016. Johnson has conducted more than 150 criminal jury trials. She is a member of the State bar of Michigan Criminal Law Section, Oakland County Bar Association, and CDAM.
