'Current Trends in Qualified Immunity Law' examined

The Michigan Defense Trial Counsel (MDTC) will host the webinar "Dis-Qualified (?) Immunity Current Trends in Qualified Immunity Law" on Thursday, March 10, from noon to 1 p.m.
Should municipal employees and officials be concerned that the qualified immunity they have traditionally been afforded is disappearing? This webinar will address the recent evolution of the doctrine of qualified immunity and identify trends in the decisions that are emerging from trial and appellate courts on this issue. The session will also include discussion regarding recent changes in how courts are analyzing constitutional challenges to police use of force.
Registration for the webinar is free for MDTC members and costs $25 for non-members. To register, visit www.mdtc.org and click on "MDTC Events" under "Press Center." Anyone with questions can call MDTC at 517-627-3745.
