Legal Excellence Awards planned by MDTC for March 17

The Michigan Defense Trial Counsel will present its Legal Excellence Awards 2022 on Thursday, March 17, at The Gem Theatre, 333 Madison Avenue in Detroit from 6 to 9 p.m.
The night will include presentations of the following awards:
- Judicial Award-Macomb County Circuit Court Judge Richard L. Caretti
- Excellence in Defense Award-Wilson A. Copeland II, Grier, Copeland, & Williams PC
- Golden Gavel Award-Troy Brandon Ayers, Allstate Insurance Company
- MAJ - Respected Advocate Award-Deborah A. Lujan, Collins, Einhorn, Farrell PC
- MDTC - Respected Advocate Award-Donna M. MacKenzie, Olsman, MacKenzie, Peacock, & Wallace
- MDTC - John P. Jacobs Appellate Advocacy Award-Dan S. Saylor, Garan, Lucow, Miller PC
The banquet includes a strolling dinner and an open bar. The emcee for the evening will be Charlie Langton of Fox 2 Detroit.
