Michigan Association of Treatment Court Professionals conducting 22nd Annual Conference

The Michigan Association of Treatment Court Professionals will conduct its 22nd Annual Conference Thursday and Friday, March 31-April 1, at the Lansing Center in Lansing. 
This event will be presented as a hybrid event, which means that attendees can choose sessions workshops in-person, or remotely. MATCP, some speakers and all vendors will be on-site.

Among the workshops currently scheduled are:

• Legislative Update from Judge Harvey J. Hoffman (ret)

• Garbage Bag Suitcase – A Survivor’s Guide to the Long Terms Impacts of Children in Care

• Understanding Organizational Chronic Stress from a Trauma Informed Lens

• Emotional Regulation Techniques

• Family-Centered Collaborative Case Planning to Improve Family Outcomes (General or FTC Track)

• Housing Pilot Update with MATCP & Cinnaire

• Equity and Racial Justice from a Trauma Informed Lens

• Social Work Integration Into Public Defender Offices and Courts

• Beyond Alcohol – Successfully Navigating the New Landscape of Impaired Driving

• Stages of a Criminal Docket, a Family NA Case Docket, and a Family Treatment Court Docket

• Considerations for Developing a Child Welfare Drug Testing Policy and Protocol

•  Adoption of Virtual Services in Judicially Led Diversion Programs – Final Findings and Participant Findings

• Michigan’s Opioid Settlement Update

• Cannabis and Cars—Addressing the Challenges of the Marijuana Impaired Driver

• FTC Best Practices – How Michigan is Supporting FTCs Across the State

Cost for the conference is  $305 per person for either in-person or virtual.  For those attending in person, MATCP will be following any venue-based safety and health protocols that may be in effect at the time of the conference.  Registration deadline for attendees is Friday, March 4.
