Applications are now being accepted for a seat on the Wayne County Circuit Court to replace retiring Judge Lawrence S. Talon (retirement effective April 15).
To be considered for this position, applicants must be a State Bar of Michigan member who meets the legal qualifications for this office. To be appointed, applicants must reside within the judicial district.
Judicial appointment questionnaire, writing samples, resume, and supplemental documents must be submitted using the online portal at www.michigan.gov/appointments and received by 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 21. Additional letters of recommendation can still be submitted after your initial submission to judicialappointments@michigan.gov.
