The State Bar of Michigan's Practice Management Resource Center will present the virtual seminar "Client Portals: A Key Client Service and Information Security Tool" featuring speaker Jim Calloway on Thursday, May 19, from 2 to 3 p.m. via Zoom.
This virtual seminar will provide attorneys with information on how they can use cloud-based practice management tools and free-standing software to create client portals. Attendees will discover how these tools can securely send and receive documents in an increasingly digital environment including:
• How law firms can use features that improve the appearance of their client portal
• The importance of client portals and the new features available to law firms
• What tools and features client portals have that can help law firms be more secure
Speaker Jim Calloway is the director of the Oklahoma Bar Association Management Assistance Program where he has served for 25 years. He received his law degree from the University of Oklahoma where he was named to the Oklahoma Law Review. He publishes the award-winning law blog "Jim Calloway's Law Practice Tips," lawpracticetipsblog.com, and has served as co-author of three American Bar Association books on law practice management, including two on alternative billing.
