Online training to look at 'Electronic Evidence in IPV and Sexual Assault Cases'

The Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan's Violence Against Women Project will present a Zoom based presentation on electronic and digital evidence in intimate partner violence and sexual assault cases. "Digital and Electronic Evidence in IPV and Sexual Assault Cases" will take place Wednesday, June 22, from 1 to 4 p.m.

This web-based training will feature LaDonna Logan, lead attorney of the DV Unit at the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office, and Det. Sarah Markel from the Detroit Police Department. They will cover identifying, obtaining, and admitting highly relevant evidence such as cellular records, surveillance video, body worn camera and audio evidence along with some discussion related to presenting the evidence in court.

There will be some time at the end of the presentation for Q & A with the presenters.

This training satisfies 3.0 hours of continuing legal educations for purposes of PAAM's Best Practices Recommendation.
