Judge Rowe to speak at ADTC meeting

The Association of Defense Trial Counsel will welcome Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Kwamé Rowe to its October member meeting on Tuesday, October 11, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Maggiano’s Little Italy, 2089 W Big Beaver Rd. in Troy.  Rowe will discuss Oakland County Circuit Court operations in civil litigation after COVID.

Rowe was appointed to the Oakland County Circuit Court in August 2021 becoming the second African American male to serve on the Sixth Circuit Bench. Prior to his appointment, Rowe was and assistant prosecuting attorney for Oakland County 2015-2021, Human Trafficking Division, Complex Narcotics, and Homicide Cases.  He is a graduate of James Madison College at Michigan State University and Western Michigan University Cooley Law School.

The evening will begin with  cocktails at 5:30 p.m. followed by the program commencing at 6 p.m. and dinner at 6: 30 p.m. Dinner consists of a three course Italian dinner served family style.  No food choices need to be made.  Dinner also consists of freshly baked bread, coffee, hot tea, iced tea, sodas and dessert.
