After two and a half years, the Wayne County Child Support Help Program returns on Saturday, November 5, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Wayne County Community College District’s Northwest Campus, 8200 Outer Drive West in Detroit.
This event is not possible without attorney volunteers and the program is asking that attorneys once again help out to offer this program which provides free legal advice for those who desperately need it.
Volunteers attorneys will meet one on one with a participant for a short limited time (usually ten minutes) to provide legal assistance and guidance with child support issues. Volunteers are asked to arrive at the event at noon. All participants and volunteers will be asked to wear masks to help keep everyone safe. Volunteers will be provided with more information and details closer to the time of the actual event.
Attorneys willing and able to volunteer can email Lori Kaczmarek at lori.kaczmarek@3rdcc.org or call her at 313-224-6639 to be put on the list.
