The Association of Legal Administrators, Metropolitan Detroit Chapter, will take part in a volunteer opportunity at Forgotten Harvest on Saturday, February 11. From 9 a.m. to noon, ALA volunteers will pack emergency food boxes (or other duties as assigned) for the community. ALA has 25 volunteer spots to fill.
Forgotten Harvest fights hunger and food insecurity by delivering 144,000 pounds of surplus food per day to local charities five days a week, providing families in need with fresh and nutritious food free of charge. Forgotten Harvest is located at 15000 W. 8 Mile Rd. in Oak Park.
