The Taxation Section of the State Bar of Michigan will present a webinar on "Hot State and Local Tax Nexus and Transactional Considerations" Tuesday, March 28, from 2 to 3 p.m. via Zoom.
The webinar will address modifications to nexus protection rules under Public Law 86-272. It also will address state and local tax issues impacting transactions, such as the bulk sale rules, transfer taxes, and successor liability.
Presenting at the webinar will be Tony Israels, principal, Plante Moran, State and Local Tax; and David DeCew, principal, Plante Moran, State and Local Tax.
