The American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) Michigan Chapter conducted its Annual Meeting June 3 at the home of ABOTA’s National Board Representative Bob Riley. Among those in attendance at the ABOTA Annual meeting were (left to right) Emily Peacock, Pete Peacock, Saginaw County Circuit Court Judge Julie Gafkay, ABOTA Treasurer Deb Freid, and David Getto, a founding member and past president of the organization. Steve Quattlebaum, president of ABOTA National, also attended the event. Founded in 1958, ABOTA is a national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges.
