Law school welcomes Judge Rowe

Members of Western Michigan University Cooley Law School’s Criminal Law Society, Black Law Student Association, and the Organization of Women Law Students were happy to welcome WMU-Cooley graduate Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Kwamé L. Rowe (center) for an event on July 15. Rowe, the second African American male and the youngest judge to serve on the Sixth Circuit Court bench, spoke about his life’s journey as an attorney and how he came to be the youngest judge in Michigan.  Donations from the event were made to the Oakland County Bar Association Foundation’s DEI Scholarship Fund.
