The State Appellate Defender Office and the Michigan Appellate Assigned Counsel System will present a training on “Appealing a Trial Conviction—Issue Spotting, Concurrent Jurisdiction and Briefing Techniques” Friday September 29, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Detroit offices of SADO, 3031 W. Grand Blvd., Suite 450.
This one-day, iQn-person training is for MAACS roster attorneys and will focus on appealing a jury conviction. Topics include issue spotting, concurrent jurisdiction, brief writing, and more. Lunch will be provided.
