Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Flint celebrates the holiday season with a party for the children

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Flint will hold the Annual Holiday Dinner at UAW Local 651 hall at 3518 Robert T. Longway Blvd. on Thursday, December 10, 2009, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. This event is open to all participants in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program and their families. A minimal $2 per person donation will be collected at the door. Abc12 Weekend News Producer, Kelley Dickens, will serve as emcee for the evening which will be featuring Northwestern High School student, Samuel Hall, and his band, Fluid, who will provide music and entertainment for guests. Bigs and Littles will be invited to join the band for an exciting holiday sing-a-long. Guests will be treated to a karate demo by PKSA Karate, owned and operated by renowned karate Master John Lyle and a special guest appearance from Santa Claus. "Bigs for a Day" volunteers will be on-site to sit with unmatched Littles and enjoy the festivities together. Additional supporters for this event include UAW Local 651; United Way and the Society of Plastics Engineers; and University of Michigan-Flint Inter-Fraternity Council; the dinner will be catered by Italia Gardens.
