DEQ announces grant availability
The Department of Environmental Quality has announced that a request for proposals (RFP) to develop an online clearinghouse of green chemistry information in the state is available until February 12.
Green chemistry is the design of chemical processes and products that reduce or eliminate the generation of hazardous substances.
This RFP targets the objective of collecting and disseminating green chemistry information.
The DEQ has a total of $350,000 available to organizations in the form of one grant to fund all phases of a three-year project.Organizations with green chemistry experience and established networks and partnerships in Michigan are encouraged to apply.
