Mullkoff and Schieve to join Garan Lucow's Ann Arbor office 'of counsel'

The Law Firm of Garan Lucow Miller, PC has announced that Douglas Mullkoff has joined the firm as of counsel, in the firm's Ann Arbor office.
Mullkoff earned his B.A. from the University of Michigan, and his law degree from Detroit College of Law.
His career spans over 25 years as one of Michigan's prominent criminal defense attorneys in white collar and general crime.
Mullkoff has extensive experience handling cases such as homicide, assault with intent to murder, racketeering, conspiracy, computer crimes, health care fraud, money laundering, embezzlement, investment banking fraud, mortgage fraud and intellectual property crimes.
In addition, Mary Schieve also has joined the firm as of counsel, in the Ann Arbor office.
She earned her B.A. from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York, her M.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and her law degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
Schieve has practiced exclusively in the area of estate planning, probate and elder law for more than 20 years.
She also is a National Certified Guardian and has served in many fiduciary capacities, including guardian, conservator, trustee, and personal representative in the administration of estates.
Schieve's elder law practice focuses on financing for long term care, counseling to maintain independence of older adults in the community, dementia, Medicaid and Medicare, Social Security, and VA benefit programs.
