Mich. woman released from jail in child-porn case
DETROIT (AP) -- A judge has overturned a decision and released a Monroe woman who is charged with sexually exploiting her daughter on a pornography Web site.
The 45-year-old woman was sent to jail last week by U.S. Magistrate Judge Mona Majzoub. But another federal judge, Arthur Tarnow, released her last Thursday while her case moves through federal court in Detroit.
The FBI says the woman arranged sexually explicit photos of her daughter for a paid Web site maintained by her and a boyfriend, a convicted sex offender. The photography began when the girl was 8 years old. She's now 15.
The Associated Press is not naming the mother because that would identify her daughter.
