Game on: Lansing Lugnuts will begin 15th season in Cooley Law School Stadium
President and Dean of the Thomas M. Cooley Law School Don LeDuc and Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero announced Monday that the downtown Lansing stadium, home to the minor league baseball team the Lansing Lugnuts, will officially be named the Cooley Law School Stadium.
The Lansing Lugnuts and Cooley Law School signed an 11-year sponsorship agreement, which mirrors the stadium lease between the team and the City of Lansing. The new stadium name agreement allows the baseball club and the city to evenly split the sponsorship support, totaling $1,485,000 over the length of the contract.
"We are thrilled to make this long-term investment that will benefit, not only our students and employees, but the entire community and region for years to come," LeDuc said.
