'ERISA/Liens Workshop' hosted by MAJ, March 25

The Michigan Association for Justice (MAJ) will host a members-only "ERISA/Liens Workshop" Thursday, March 25, at 6 p.m. at the Hotel Baronette in Novi.
Co-moderators for the workshop are MAJ Past-President Jules Olsman, MAJ Executive Board member Bob June, and MAJ Executive Board member Troy Haney.
The workshop will feature:
* "ERISA vs. No-Fault: What to do when the health insurance company tries to steal your third-party recovery"--A discussion of Glover v Nationwide Mutual Fire Insurance Company, et al with Troy Haney of Haney Law Office PC in Grand Rapids.
* "ERISA Lien vs. Attorney Fees: Can your client's ERISA-governed health insurer steal your attorney fee?"--A discussion of The Longaberger Company v Kolt with Troy Haney.
* "Medicaid and Medicare Liens: A practical approach to effectively dealing with government liens" with Donna MacKenzie of Olsman, Mueller, Wallace & MacKenzie in Berkley.
This MAJ members only workshop costs $125 for MAJ regular and sustaining members (with digital materials) and $150 for MAJ regular and sustaining members (with Hard Copy materials). There will be an additional $20 charge for registering at the door.
