Butzel long's Chris Mitchell authors article for bioscience publication

Butzel Long senior attorney Chris Mitchell authored a guest article that appears in the March 2010 edition of the MichBIO LINK newsletter.
MichBIO is the biosciences industry trade association and the official Michigan affiliate of the Biotechnology Industry Organization, BIO, which represents biotechnology companies across America and in 33 other nations.
Mitchell's article is entitled, "Saving Money on Intellectual Property. Practically." The article focuses on practical ways to help control IP expenses without sacrificing quality.
Based in Butzel Long's Ann Arbor office, Mitchell specializes in intellectual property law.
He focuses his practice in the areas of consumer products, medical devices, and automotive components.
Mitchell is admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, and before the Canadian Intellectual Property Office.
He is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati William Howard Taft College of Law (J.D., Honor's List, 1994) and Kenyon College (B.A., Biology, Merit List, 1991).
