Seminar to explore 'Warranty, Recall, and Product Liability'
A program on "Warranty, Recall and Product Liability in Today's Environment" will be presented by the Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA) and the law firm of Bush, Seyferth, & Paige PLLC (BSP). The seminar will take place Wednesday, April 14, from 7:30 to 11 a.m. at the MSU Management Education Center, 811 W. Square Lake Road in Troy.
This event offers suppliers insight into the implications and lessons learned from the current original equipment manufacturer (OEM) recall situation, using sudden unintended acceleration (SUA) incidents as a case study.
Speakers include:
* Patrick Seyferth, senior partner, BSP.
* Dave Sakata, vice president of Technology, Freudenberg-NOK.
* Ann Wilson, senior vice president of Government Affairs, Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association.
Registration, networking and breakfast will take place from 7:30 to 8 a.m. with the program following. There is also the option to participate via live webinar. The cost is $125 for OESA members and $195 for nonmembers.
