Woman Lawyers Association of Michigan honors two Cooley students

Two Cooley Law School students have been named as Outstanding Woman Law Students by the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan.
Heather Main, of Minden City, Mich., and Heather French, of Grand Rapids, Mich., both students at Cooley's campus in Grand Rapids, were named WLAM Foundation Scholars. Main and French will each be presented with a $2,500.00 scholarship award from Chief Justice Marilyn Kelly in ceremonies to be held in Detroit on April 15.
The foundation awards are based on a student's accomplishments that reflect a commitment to women's issues, which include demonstrated leadership, community service in areas such as family law, child advocacy or domestic violence, and who show a potential for advancing the position of women in society.
