Kelly to give State of the Judiciary address
Michigan Supreme Court Chief Justice Marilyn Kelly will deliver her State of the Judiciary address on Wednesday, April 14, at a joint session of the House and Senate starting at 2 p.m.
The chief justice's address will be carried live on Michigan Government Television (www.mgtv.org). Video of the address will be available for later viewing on the State Bar of Michigan's "Virtual Court" page at http://www.michbar.org/courts/virtualcourt.cfm.
It has been nearly a decade since a chief justice of the Michigan Supreme Court addressed a joint session of the Legislature; the last chief justice to do so was Justice Elizabeth A. Weaver in 2000.
