Reservations due for Law Day breakfast

The Jackson County Bar Association, Comerica Bank, and NALS of Jackson County is sponsoring this year's Law Day 2010 breakfast on Wednesday, May 5 at the Country Club of Jackson.
Buffet breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m. with an 8 a.m. program start time.
Reservations are required by Friday, April 30 by calling Mary Sue Thome at ACRO Legal Support Services at 517-787-4472.
The theme for this year's event is "Law in the 21st Century" and will feature Michigan Court of Appeals Judge William Whitbeck.
In addition, the JCBA will present its "Liberty Bell Award" which is given by bar associations around the state in conjunction with Law Day.
The award recognizes outstanding service performed by a non-lawyer citizen who has given of his or her time and energy to strengthen the effectiveness of the American system of freedom under law.
