Straker Bar to discuss finances at meeting, conduct elections
The D. Augustus Straker Bar Association will conduct its May membership meeting and elections Thursday, May 20, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Bingham Officer Center, 30800 Telegrapher, Suite 1751, in Bingham Farms.
The meeting will take a look at "Financial Strategies for 2010 and Beyond." The presentation will focus on what lawyers need to know to build and protect their assets. Panelists will include Tenicia Vanzant, financial advisor and long term care specialist at Seymour Gill, Financial/MassMutiual; and Donell Miles, vice president for the Southfield Edward's branch of Comerica Bank.
