Reception planned for judicial candidate
A reception in support of Dana M. Hathaway, a judicial candidate for Oakland County Probate Court in the 2010 fall election, will take place on Tuesday, May 11, from 5:30 to7:30 p.m. in Farmington Hills.
The event will be hosted by American Settlement Centers, a company that offers dispute resolution services, at its office headquarters in The TriAtria Building, 32255 Northwestern Highway, Suite 214. Campaign donations of $100 per person are requested.
Michigan Supreme Court Justice Diane Hathaway will be a special guest at the reception.
Dana Hathaway is one of five candidates seeking an opening on the Probate Court bench that will be created by the impending retirement of Chief Judge Eugene Arthur Moore, who is prohibited from running again because of the statutory age limit.
