CASA presenting 'The Blind Side' on Thursday, May 20

The film "The Blind Side" will be shown on Thursday, May 20 at 7:30 p.m. at the Michigan Theater as a fundraiser for Washtenaw County's Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at CASA's website:

"May is National Foster Care Month," a CASA spokesperson said. "And we invite everyone to join us on May 20 for a benefit screening of 'The Blind Side' as we recognize the important role our CASA advocates play in the well-being of foster children here in Washtenaw County.
"The movie is a heart-wrenching, true story of amazing twists of fate and the ultimate gift of love -- a safe, permanent home."
