"This is great. It's cool in here. Look at all the room."

Those were some of the comments from the lawyers, judges, law students, and others who came to the 67th Ingham County Bar Association Shrimp Dinner held at the Ingham County Fairgrounds Banquet Hall in Mason on May 26th.

The team of cooks, headed by Phil Vilella and Bill Collette, found their job easier as they used the huge commercial stove and refrigerator to prepare the shrimp, the secret sauce, potato salad, ham, green salad, and rolls that made up the menu. No longer were they cooking shrimp in barrels in the parking lot. The 170 plus attendees were able to socialize with ease as they moved about the room.

After the dinner, David Lick, current President, announced the results of the ICBA election. The following were elected to the Board for three-year term:

* Brendon Basiga,

* Jessica Fox

* Catherine Groll

* Tom Brennan, Jr., won re-election.

Pat Gallagher, Gallagher Law Firm, is the President-elect who will be officially elected at the July Board meeting.
