Federal Bar planning its Summer Associate Law Clerk Program

The Federal Bar Association-Eastern District of Michigan Chapter cordially invites summer associates and law clerks to the eighth-annual FBA Summer Associate/Law Clerk program.
In order to accommodate the federal judges and FBA members who would like to spend time with summer associates and law clerks before they head back to school, the chapter will sponsor a brief and succinct program on Thursday, July 1, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in room 115 of the Levin Courthouse in Detroit.
U.S. District Court Judges George Caram Steeh and Avern Cohn are scheduled to speak at the event.
In addition to meeting members of the local federal judiciary, summer associates/law clerks will be provided practical suggestions that will serve them as future lawyers.
Cost for the program, which includes lunch, is $10 per person.
Registration is requested by Wednesday, June 23. Register online at www.fbamich.org or drop a note to Brian Figot at fbamich@fbamich.org to let him know the names of summer associates and/or clerks who will attend.
