Kidney Foundation of Michigan given high rating by 'Charity Navigator'

For the fourth consecutive year, the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan (NKFM) has been recognized for its success in sound fiscal management by receiving a four-star rating from Charity Navigator. The four out of four star rating indicates that the NKFM has succeeded in efficiently managing and growing its finances throughout the last year. Charity Navigator is the leading charity evaluator in America and only gives 4-star ratings to a quarter of the charities it evaluates. Only 8 percent of these charities have received the prestigious 4-star rating for four consecutive years. The coveted ranking shows that the NKFM outperforms the majority of other nonprofit agencies in America in fiscal responsibility. This exceptional designation differentiates the NKFM from its peers and demonstrates the reliability and efficiency of the organization's services. "The NKFM is extremely honored to receive a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator for the fourth consecutive year," said NKFM President and CEO Daniel Carney. "We'll strive to continue, and even improve upon, the sound business practices that have continually earned our organization this recognition."
