Citizens sought to serve on county commissions, boards, and committees

The Oakland County Board of Commissioners is seeking interested citizens to volunteer to serve the community through appointment to the Oakland Department of Human Services Agency Board. The Board of Commissioners seeks to fill the following vacancy: One (1) individual from the General Public. Each member serves a 3-year term. The board has oversight responsibilities for the Oakland County Department of Human Services, and assists in developing goals and objectives to provide effective social service programs to meet the needs of the community. The board meets the 4th Tuesday of each month at 1:30 p.m., at the Oakland Town Center, located at 28 North Saginaw Street, Suite 1200 in Pontiac.
