News (AP) - Basic family law training offered by LAD, Aug. 24

Legal Aid and Defender Association will present "Basic Family Law Training for New Practicing Attorneys in Wayne County" on Tuesday, August 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the LAD offices, 613 Abbott St. in Detroit.
Featured speakers will include Third Judicial Circuit of Michigan Judge Richard B. Halloran, Family Division; attorney Henry Baskin; Barbara Glasson, Legal Program coordinator for First Step; and David March, retired attorney - Wayne County Friend of the Court.
Free training and materials in exchange for attorney's agreement to accept one pro bono case from LAD.
