'End of Summer Wine & Garden Party' hosted by WLAM at judge's home
The Women Lawyers Association of Michigan - Wayne Region (WLAM) will host "End of Summer Wine & Garden Party!" on Monday, Sept. 13, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the home of Third Judicial Circuit of Michigan Judge Lita Popke.
The event will feature wine, light hors d'ouvres, sweets and socializing. Last year's Garden Party at Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Kirsten Frank Kelly's home was such a success that Popke volunteered on the spot to host the party this year. It will again be a friendly and informal summer gathering where attendees can easily talk with a variety of people, from judges to new lawyers, senior partners to law students, solos to in-house counsel.
All judges, lawyers and law students from Wayne, Washtenaw, Macomb and Oakland Counties are welcome to attend.
The cost to attend is $10 for WLAM members and $20 non-WLAM members.
Reservations are requested by by Monday, Sept. 6, and can be made by contacting Elizabeth Jolliffe at elizabeth@yourbenchmarkcoach.com.
