The State Bar's Elder Law and Disability Rights Section is hosting its annual conference, "Changes and Choices," from Wednesday to Friday, Oct. 6-8, at Crystal Mountain Resort in Thompsonville.
This year's conference will focus on health care reform on the federal and state level. Special guests at the conference will include David Lilliesand, principal at Lilliesand and Wolasky, P.L.; Kenneth Ross, commissioner of Michigan Office of Financial and Insurance Regulation; Charles Sabatino, director of ABA Commission on Law and Aging; and James Varpness, regional administrator of Administration on Aging.
Attendees should feel free to bring family members and friends, as recreational opportunities abound at the resort.
The cost of the conference is $200 for section members, $230 for non-members, and $120 for non-lawyers. Scholarships are available.
For additional information or to register online or download registration form to fax or mail, visit www.michbar.org/elderlaw by Friday, Sept. 24. Contact Brad Geller with any other questions at gellerb@michigan.gov.
