Oakland County officials to help build a home for Habitat for Humanity

Today Oakland County officials will help build a home located at 26354 Wolverine in Madison Heights (Wolverine runs south off of 11 Mile Road between John R and Dequindre).

Oakland County Commissioner Gary McGillivray, who represents the community of Madison Heights, has gathered a group of elected officials and county department leaders to help build a home for Habitat for Humanity in Oakland County.

Oakland County officials dedicated to the cause of building a better county by joining hands and lending their time to build a home for a Madison Heights family includes Oakland County Commissioners Gary McGillivray, Thomas F. Middleton, David Coulter and Jim Nash, along with Oakland County Executive/Chief Information Officer Phillip R. Bertolini and Oakland County Sheriff's Business Manager Dale Cunningham.

McGillivray stated "I encourage everyone to come out and lend a hand for this worthy cause as we prepare for Patriot Week. What better way to give than to help someone else and support organizations, like Habitat for Humanity and their good works!"
