Judge Warren to speak at Hoffman Farms

Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Michael Warren will join Hoffman Farms on Sunday, Sept. 12, to celebrate the patriotic values of our founders. The celebration is scheduled from 2 to 5 p.m. at 2521 Rose Center Road in Highland Township. Admission is free and open to the public.
Hosted by Bob Hoffman, owner of Hoffman Farms and president of the Highland Equestrian Conservancy, Sunday's event will pay tribute to America's First Principles, key historical figures, and founding documents and bring to the forefront what it means to be an American. The celebration will include patriotic music, dramatic Revolutionary War re-enactments, and a group of speakers lined up to talk about what patriotism means to them. There will be activities and entertainment for all ages.
Warren, who currently serves in the Civil/Criminal Division of the Circuit Court has will be a featured speaker at the event. "We are very excited about this unique opportunity to host a Patriot Week event at the historic landmark of Hoffman Farms," exclaimed Warren. "It is an ideal setting to reflect upon and celebrate our founding First Principles in our Declaration of Independence and the sacrifices our Founding Fathers and succeeding generations have undertaken. We hope to renew the spirit of America by remembering what makes America the greatest nation the world has ever seen."
Hoffman Farms is a working farm that boards horses and cuts hay off of about 100 of the 299 acres. The farm consists of an 1830s Greek Revival-style home that was previously owned by the Frank Doty, Circuit Court judge from 1928-1965, and Susan Fisher of the Fisher Body family.
"We are honored to host an event of this caliber," commented owner Bob Hoffman. "This is a non-partisan political event. We want families to come and join us and be inspired about our great country."
