Wayne State University Law School will host its yearly Alumni Reception at the State Bar of Michigan Annual Meeting from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30, at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in Grand Rapids.
This year’s reception will honor Wayne Law alumni and award recipients Edward Zelenak,’77, Hon. Wendy Potts, ‘77, Mark Granzotto, ‘78, and Eric Frankie, ‘92, as well as Wayne Law Professor Katherine White, who will be recognized as the Law School’s 2010 recipient of the Donald H. Gordon Award for Excellence in Teaching.
Alumni, faculty and friends are invited to join Wayne Law Dean Robert M. Ackerman at the event, as the reception also will provide an opportunity for attendees to network and reconnect with fellow colleagues.

The Wayne Law State Bar Reception will be immediately followed by a Wayne Law Alumni Association happy hour event from 6 to 8 p.m. in Gilly's Restaurant (first floor of the B.O.B.).
