'Second Time Around Shop' holding its grand opening

Second Time Around Nonprofit Resale Shop is holding its ribbon cutting and Grand Opening Celebration on Friday, Oct. 1. The event will begin at noon. The shop is located at 306 Francis Street in Jackson, next to the Jackson Legal News office and across from the Commonwealth Center near the corner of Washington and Francis streets. Executive Director Mary Steinmetz said there will be refreshments, special sales, a raffle and bake sale. Steinmetz stated that profits from the shop are given to local non-profits.
