OCBA offers 'Video Viewing Marathon'
The Oakland County Bar Association (OCBA) will host a Video Viewing Marathon - A Brown Bag Lunch Lecture Series replay Monday through Thursday, Dec. 13-16, and will feature the past videos from "Anatomy of a Criminal Case - Years XI & XII."
Two videos will be shown each day. The cost for this video replay is $20 per video. The first video will run from 10:30 a.m. to noon and the second video will run from 12:30 to 2 p.m. each day. Attendees need to arrive within 15 minutes of the start of the presentation to receive credit.
The dates, topic and speakers are as follows:
* Mon., Dec. 13 - Video A - Abuse & Neglect Cases in Family Court presented by Lisa Neilson.
* Mon., Dec. 13 - Video B - Felony Child Support presented by Timothy P. Flynn.
* Tues., Dec. 14 - Video A - Preserving Issues for Habeus Review presented by Magaret Sind Raben.
* Tues., Dec. 14 - Video B - Confessions presented by Michael J. McCarthy.
* Wed., Dec. 15 - Video A - 404(b) presented by Joseph A. Lavigne.
* Wed., Dec. 15 - Video B - Driver's License Restoration & Appeals presented by Amy J. Bowen-Krane.
* Thurs., Dec. 16 - Video A - Anatomy of a Court-Appointed Case presented by LaNita R. Haith.
* Thurs., Dec. 16 - Video B - Use of, and Defending Challenges to, Expert Witnesses presented by Patrick T. Barone.
Pre-registration is recommended as seating is limited. Attendees are asked to bring their own lunch and popcorn will be provided.
