Societies volunteer at Focus: HOPE for 21st Service Project Day
The Incorporated Society of Irish/American Lawyers (ISIAL) and the Catholic Lawyers Society (CLS) will conduct their 21st Service Project Day at the Focus: HOPE Central Warehouse, 6500 East Davison Avenue in Detroit, on Saturday, Nov. 13, beginning at 9 a.m. (lasts approximately 2-3 hours). A worker get-together will follow at Buddy's at 6 Mile & Conant.
The ISIAL & CLS have packed more than 40,000 boxes of food for the needy since 2000. Focus: HOPE is a civil and human rights organization that relies on the efforts of volunteers to accomplish its goals. In the spirit of service, the organizations have committed forty volunteers to assist in the packing of food boxes for homebound senior citizens.
To volunteer, e-mail Mike Riordan at mriordan1978@yahoo.com.
