Attorney serves as events chair for 2010 TiECon Midwest program

The Detroit Chapter of TiE (Talent, Ideas and Enterprise) is hosting 2010 TiECon Midwest on October 28-29 at The Henry in Dearborn. This year's theme is Business Karma 3.0. Kasturi Bagchi, an attorney at Maddin, Hauser, Wartell, Roth & Heller PC, is organizing the programming for the conference for the second year in a row. "Our focus last year was delivering content which showcased growth opportunities for the business community in spite of the poor economy," said Bagchi. "This year's agenda is geared towards providing opportunities to the attendees to connect and collaborate with the right folks so they can attain business success without compromising principles." One such program developed by Bagchi for the conference is "Extreme Power Connect," where entrepreneurs will meet in small discussion groups with investors, consultants and other seasoned entrepreneurs and find out what attracts capital and how to take a product to market with little to no capital. The 90-minute session will be held on Thursday, Oct. 28, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Early registration ends October 21 for TiECon Midwest 2010 and tickets can be purchased at a fixed rate for the two-day conference including, the Gala Dinner, or for individual days and the Gala Dinner separately. Specific member and student member rates, including rates for non-members are available as well. A full listing of the agenda, speakers, venue information and ticket prices can be found at www.tieconmidwest.org. Bagchi's areas of legal practice include real estate, corporate and business, as well as lending and finance. Published: Wed, Oct 20, 2010
