FARMINGTON HILLS (AP) -- A newspaper says official autopsy and toxicology results confirm that a suburban Detroit attorney died of complications from an old boating injury -- not murder at the hands of his wife who was arrested before charges were later dropped.
The Detroit Free Press says it obtained a copy of the report blocked by Farmington Hills police. The newspaper says Oakland County Medical Examiner Dr. L.J. Dragovic also confirmed there's nothing in the 11-page report to contradict his ruling about how 413-pound Lloyd Johnson died.
Laura Johnson was charged last month with second-degree murder in her husband's Sept. 22 death, but all charges were later dropped.
A judge ruled Johnson has been barred from seeing her two sons.
An investigation is ongoing.
