"Court to Schools" Judicial education partnership: 55th District Court and Holt High School

The Honorable Donald L. Allen, Jr. held a "Court To Schools" session of the 55th District Court on Friday, on October 29, 2010 at Holt High School in Holt, MI. The session began at 8:00 a.m. and concluded by 1:00 p.m.
The 55th District Court has developed a judicial education partnership with local high schools through the creation of "Court To Schools" program, reaching thousands of local students since it's inception in 2009. The program introduces students to the criminal justice system through observation of official court proceedings held at the school, allowing students a safe and non-threatening experience with the criminal justice system in an educational atmosphere.
The request to hold a session of court at Holt High School has been approved by the Michigan Supreme Court.
The Honorable Thomas P. Boyd, 55th District Court Judge, hold court as regularly scheduled at the 55th District Court, Mason, MI 48854.
