Adult Guardian Ad Litem Training' offered by OCBA on Dec. 9

The Oakland County Bar Association (OCBA) will host a seminar presented by its Probate, Estate, & Trust Committee titled "Adult Guardian Ad Litem Training" on Thursday, Dec. 9, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Oakland County Bar Center in Bloomfield Hills.
This training seminar focuses on instructions regarding guardianships and conservatorships for those seeking adult guardian ad litem appointments through the Oakland County Probate Court. A full spectrum of speakers, including professionals from the Oakland County Probate Court, will explain the complete process in which an attorney may become a guardian ad litem.
A roster of attendees will be forwarded to the Oakland County Probate Court judges.
The cost to attend is $90 for OCBA members who pre-register; $60 for OCBA new lawyers who pre-register; and $120 for non-OCBA members who pre-register. For those registering at the door, the cost is $110 for OCBA members, $75 for OCBA new lawyers, and $145 for non-OCBA members.
