Bullard named new Clerk/Register of Deeds for Oakland County
Oakland County Circuit Court Chief Judge Nanci Grant announced that Bill Bullard Jr. was appointed by the Circuit Court to be County Clerk/Register of Deeds for Oakland County.
"Bill Bullard is well known and has a good reputation for working with all areas of government to improve services to the public. The judges gave due diligence to this decision," said Grant
"While there are many important responsibilities as the County Clerk, it is important to appoint someone who understands and appreciates the judicial process. As a bench, we made this a fair, open process where notice was posted, applications were solicited, candidates were narrowed down and interviews conducted. We look forward to working with Bill Bullard."
Current Clerk Ruth Johnson will become Michigan's next Secretary of State beginning Jan. 1, 2011.
