DETROIT (AP) -- A suburban Detroit man says he will fight charges that he hacked into his then-estranged wife's computer to access her e-mails.
Leon Walker told The Associated Press last Thursday that he is preparing for his February trial.
The Oakland County prosecutor's office charged the 33-year-old information technology worker with the felony after 35-year-old Clara Walker filed a complaint against him earlier this year.
Clara Walker claims she didn't give him the password. Leon Walker says she previously had told him the password and kept it in an address book in their Rochester Hills home.
Leon Walker says he went into the e-mails to confirm that his wife was taking their 3-year-old daughter on liaisons with her second husband and worried about the girl's safety.
The Walkers were divorced Dec. 14.
