TROY (AP) -- Auto parts supplier ArvinMeritor Inc. said Monday it completed the sale of its car door and roof business to auto supplier Inteva Products LLC.
The purchase price was $27.3 million, consisting of $12.27 million in cash and a promissory note for $15 million.
The sale of the unit allows ArvinMeritor to concentrate on making parts for commercial vehicles. Inteva makes car doors, roofs, electronics and other products.
Both Inteva and ArvinMeritor are based Troy.
